An Analytical study of operations management at SA Interiors pvt.ltd
This report presents a detailed study on the operations management practices followed
at SA Interiors Pvt. Ltd., undertaken as part of an internship program. The primary
objective of this study is to understand how interior projects are planned, organized,
executed, and controlled to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
During the internship period, practical exposure was gained in various operational
activities such as project scheduling, material procurement, workforce coordination,
quality control, and cost management. The study highlights how the organization
manages its daily operations to balance quality, time, and cost effectively. Special
emphasis was given to understanding workflow processes, inventory management
systems, and coordination between design, execution, and client service teams.
The report also analyzes key operational challenges faced by the company, including
delays in material supply, design modifications, labor availability, and fluctuating
project costs. Through systematic data collection and analysis, these issues were
evaluated to identify their impact on project performance. Various tools such as charts,
graphs, and performance indicators were used to interpret operational efficiency and
productivity levels.
