The rapid growth of urban populations has increased the demand for efficient and user friendly public transportation systems. Mumbai Metro serves as a critical mobility backbone for daily commuters, yet passengers often face challenges in understanding optimal routes, planning journeys, and accessing seamless ticketing options through a single digital platform. This paper presents the design and implementation of M-METRO, a web and mobile compatible software system that integrates a smart journey planner with a digital ticketing model tailored for the Mumbai Metro network. The proposed system combines route optimization with interchange minimization and an intelligent assistant that explains journey choices in a clear and structured manner. The platform provides interactive two dimensional maps of metro lines and platforms, timetable based planning, shortest route identification, and secure digital ticket generation supported by user authentication and transaction management. The architecture is built using modern web technologies and map rendering frameworks to ensure accessibility, scalability, and real time usability. The study focuses on system design, workflow modeling, and practical deployment considerations to demonstrate how integrated planning and ticketing can enhance commuter convenience and operational efficiency in urban metro environments.
