Usage of Sustainable Energy to Achieve Net-zero Emission for Sustainable Development: An Overview with Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure
Sustainable development, Renewable Resource, Net-zero Emission
The study discusses the possibilities of adopting pollution-free production process in India, instead of carrying out production by burning fossil fuels, thus emitting hazardous greenhouse gases. To achieve net-zero emission, India has to build a sustainable infrastructure for industrial production by using renewable energy resources and employing reskilled labourers. Proper training programs are to be conducted by public and private sectors to prepare the labourers with suitable skills. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt of India offers such training programs as well as Corporate Social Responsibilities of private sector can arrange for skill-development trainings for the labourers. With the use of solar power, wind energy, biomass etc the producing units can carry out the production process thus inducing the sustained, long-term process of improving a society's material well-being, quality of life, and economic, social, and institutional structures in favour of sustainable development.
