This paper examines the growth of e-commerce in India, its operational models, and the challenges faced by consumers. It critically analyses the legal framework under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. The study further evaluates how strengthening consumer protection contributes to the national vision of Viksith Bharat, focusing on a transparent, secure, and inclusive digital economy.
